Air Mauritius has won the distinction which is often referred as the ‘Oscars of the travel industry’.

Mauritius has also been awarded with the ''World's Leading Honeymoon Destination 2012'', which recognizes the island as the first destination for honeymoons in all over the world.
The ''World Travel Awards'' (WTA) rewards travel brands for their contributions made to the region’s travel sector over the last year.
The award ceremony took place at the Intercontinental Hotel, Singapore in the presence of hundreds of key personalities and decision makers from the region’s top travel brands.
